Open Tea Ceremony

We are happy to offer an opportunity to enjoy an hour experience of authentic Japanese tea ceremony. You will be a guest of the tea ceremony and enjoy a bowl of matcha green tea and tea sweet.

In July, we will hold a romantic "Tanabata" Tea Ceremony.  On the amorous occasion of the 7th Day of the 7th Month of the year, Japanese celebrate the romantic meeting of the deities Orihime and Hikoboshi, which are represented by the stars Vega and Altair. According to the legend, the Milky Way cruelly separates these two lovers, but they are allowed to meet only once a year, on this night, to enjoy each other's love.  This annual lovers' rendezvous has been occurring for centuries!
